Wear rings are used to prevent metal to metal contact of moving parts in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. They also center the piston and rod for optimum seal life. The glass-filled nylon material offers compressive strengths similar to most metals used for this purpose and will ingest contaminants such as metal chips, thus avoiding scoring and seal damage. Nylon wearbands are easily cut down from larger sizes to fit any size piston or rod. Consult sales for sizes not shown. B Suffix = Butt Cut
