U Cups

The u cup is ideal for use on linear moving shafts and piston heads, because unlike an O-ring the shape does not try to roll with the movement and create friction.

Rod Seals / Buffer Rings are often the decisive factor in ensuring that a hydraulic cylinder operates at peak performance.

Wiper seals (also known as scraper seals) are axial seals that form a tight fit but still allow a reciprocating ram rod to pass through the seal's inner bore.

Piston seals are intended to prevent leakage past the piston and therefore maximize the efficiency of a system.

Piston Cups Are Suitable For Hydraulic Applications. Most Cups Are Supplied Solid. Non-Standard Sizes available.

Rotary seals and Shaft Seals are used in components with oscillating or rotating parts to keep lube fluids in while preventing ingress of mud and water.

The pneumatic seal is mainly used to contain fluids such as compressed air and gas. To make pneumatic seals, materials with advanced properties are used.

An O-ring is a mechanical gasket in the shape of a torus or donut. It is a loop of elastomer or other material with a round cross-section, designed to be seated in a groove and compressed during assembly between two or more parts, creating a seal at the interface.

A back-up ring is a rigid ring that holds an elastomeric seal or plastic (such as Polyethylene) connection to its designed shape and in its correct place. Back up rings are commonly used with O-rings and lip seals.

Wear rings are used to prevent metal to metal contact of moving parts in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. They also center the piston and rod for optimum seal life. The glass-filled nylon material offers compressive strengths similar to most metals used for this purpose and will ingest contaminants such as metal chips, thus avoiding scoring and seal damage. Nylon wearbands are easily cut down from larger sizes to fit any size piston or rod. Consult sales for sizes not shown. “B” Suffix = Butt Cut

Hydraulic vee packing is a type of packing that uses multiple-lip, chevron seals to prevent the leakage of fluids. It is typically used in adjustable gland applications such as telescoping truck hoists, pumps and valves.

These seals are low pressure nitrile seals. These seals are primarily used to seal grease and lubricating oils up to 10 PSI at temperatures from -40 degrees F to +250 degrees F. Seals should be lubricated during installation for best results
