Quad rings are four-lobed seals that provide twice the sealing surface of an O-ring. They are free of mold parting lines (flash) or blemishes on those surfaces. The quad design resists spiral twist as is common with O-rings in reciprocating situations. Standard material is 70 durometer nitrile. Other materials available upon request

These solid TFE backup rings are machined from virgin TFE to military drawings and are popular in commercial applications requiring low friction, fluid compatibility or high temperature. The solid design is easier to install in larger bore sizes as there are no ends to catch. These parts do not meet mil spec testing requirements.
